Raise your hand if this title went over your head. Today, we're going way back to the good old days of Dumb and Dumber, arguably one of the funniest movies ever (and, fun fact, the first one showing someone using the bathroom, just in case that comes up in your next trivia night).

If you haven't seen it, stop what you're doing right now and watch (Well, unless you're at work. Or hanging out with your kids. Or going to the bathroom. Can you tell my four year old is going through the bathroom jokes phase?).

If you looked into my brain, it'd be a bunch of crumpled up pieces of paper with random thoughts, to do lists, reminders, and ideas. And almost always a song running through on top of everything. Does anyone else always have a song going on in their head?

But not the new songs like Waffle House, Karma, or Lil Boo Thang.

(You may be thinking, "Wow, she's really up on the new stuff!" but that's actually just songs we hear on Kidz Bop).

No, the jukebox that is my brain goes way back... to The Beatles, John Prine, Bob Dylan, MEATLOAF (I know, right), and good old Johnny D, AKA John Denver (I never called him that. I'm not sure why I just said that).

Yesterday was really exciting for me and I loved all of the great feedback on the blog. I think my dad would be happy to know that his legacy is living on. But he may lecture me on this post being too "all over the place" (Sorry, Dad).

Back to my brain, with the crumpled up pieces of paper. And Dumb and Dumber (I promise this will all tie together).

Remember the time when Lloyd said, "John Denver is full of s*%?, man" ? I have to disagree.

Yesterday as I read all of the wonderful comments about the blog, a John Denver song kept running through my head, and I still can't stop humming: "I have to say it now, it's been a good life all in all- it's really fine to have a chance to hang around."

A good life. What is that? I think a major part of it is the people we meet and how we all come together to make something beautiful. Well, I saw a lot of that yesterday and hope it keeps on coming. And if you're not scared off by bathroom talk or John Denver quotes, I think we're going to have a good time.

I'm excited for a lot more discussion, random music choices, and connection. And a chance to hang around.

Hayley
